Bike Ride at the Lehigh River Gorge Rail-Trail & Campout

June 16-18, 2017: Join Troop 194 for a bike ride through the Lehigh River Gorge in Jim Thorpe, PA. We will begin with a train ride up along the Lehigh River Gorge (with our bikes on the train), then pedal our bikes back down to Jim Thorpe along the Lehigh Gorge Rail-Trail. The Rail-Trail is a gentle downhill, scenic, state park maintained path that follows the Lehigh River. We will be camping from Friday night to Sunday morning at Hickory Run State Park, group site J. Scouts are encouraged to bring their own bike & helmet. If you don’t have one, you can rent a bike & helmet for an additional cost as listed in the flyer. Registration has been extended to Friday, May 5th at 7:30pm at the Troop meeting. Click here to download the registration form.
