Food Pantry

The Charter Organization of our Troop is St. Magdalens R.C. Church in Flemington, NJ. Part of the church's function is to help those in need. The St. Vincent dePaul Society has enlisted the participation of our Troop to help in this endeavor. Scouts & Scouters are all asked to bring non-perishable items to EACH meeting they attend to contribute to the success of this program.

Emergency Needs - canned stew, canned ham, canned pasta, chicken noodle soup, fruit cocktail, cake mix, cake frosting, flour, sugar and "Good Start" baby food.

Items usually needed include (check back often, as the list will be changed/updated regularly):

- canned foods: corn, beans,pork 'n beans, tuna, fruit, mushrooms

- dry goods: pasta, rice-a-roni, pasta mixes, raisins, cereal

- snacks: chips, pretzels, etc.

- standard items: peanut butter, jelly, tomato sauce, pasta sauce

- condiments: mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, salad dressings, oil, vinegar

- drinks: juices (cans or bottles), box drinks

- personal hygiene: shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap

- paper goods: toilet paper, tissues

- cleaning products: bleach, detergent, fabric softener

NO Refrigerated, frozen or perishable items, please!!!
