To read Troop 194's policies regarding the earning of merit badges, awards and rank advancements, please click on Policies button on the sub-menu, above. It is the responsibility of every individual Scout to read and understand these policies and to adhere to them.
For a list of Merit Badge Counselors and their associated badges, please click on the Counselors link on the sub-menu, above. Counselors are listed alphabetically by last name. To contact a Merit Badge Counselor, just click on the email link next to their name and badge list.
For requirements and schedules for merit badge work, please click on the Requirements link on the sub-menu, above. The page will be added to on a regular basis as Counselors submit their documents to the Webmaster.

While we make every effort to supply counselors for a vast majority of the BSA approved merit badges, there may be ones we've missed. 2008 RANK REQUIREMENT CHANGES - if your son joined Boy Scouts in 2008, please note the following changes are in effect starting Jan 1, 2008. Not all Scout Handbooks have the new details. Please print the following and add it to your book if you joined Troop 194 this year.
Tenderfoot- 9. Explain the importance of the buddy system as it relates to your personal safety on outings and in your neighborhood. Describe what a bully is and how you should respond to one. 12a. Demonstrate how to care for someone who is choking.
Second Class - 8."Participate in a school, community, or troop program on the dangers of using drugs, ....." is now 8a.
New version adds 8b. 8b. Explain the three R's of personal safety and protection.
First Class - Requirement 12 is new. There are now 14 requirements in First Class.
12. Describe the three things you should avoid doing related to use of the Internet. Describe a cyberbully and how you should respond to one.
