Hunterdon Care Center (Alternate Troop Meeting Site)

The Center is located at #1 Liesure Court in Flemington, NJ right off Bartles Corner Road near the Hunterdon Medical Center. Meetings are held in the Dining Room.

From Flemington: Route 31 North past Hunterdon Medical Center to the next traffic light (Bartles Corner Road). Turn right and then make another right in 0.2 miles onto Leisure Court. The Center is at the end of Leisure Court.

From Clinton: Route 31 South past HealthQuest on your left to the next traffic light (Bartles Corner Road). Turn left and then make a right in 0.2 miles onto Leisure Court. The Center is at the end of Leisure Court.

From Whitehouse Station: Route 523 South past the old Lipton plant and past the Route 523 junction. Just past Tulip Drive, turn left onto Leisure Court. The Center is at the end of Leisure Court.

YARDS CREEK SCOUT RESERVATION, Blairstown, NJ

From south-west New Jersey, go north on Rt. 31 to Rt. 46 West to Rt. 94 North toward Blairstown. St.Jude's Church will be on the left just before your next turn. Look for Walnut Valley Road (intersection of Rt. 94 and an unmarked road toward Vail about 100 feet before the Dairy Queen). Go north on Walnut Valley Road for 3-4 miles until you come to the Power Station. Stop at the Guard Station then follow the road to the camp. It eventually becomes a dirt road. Keep going until you reach the camp parking lot on left.

KITTATINNY MOUNTAIN SCOUT RESERVATION (KMSR)

Take Rt. 206 North approx 4 miles north of Branchville on Rt. 206 (look for "Stokes State Forest" sign on right side). On the left, approx 1/4 mile past Stokes State Forest entrance will be the sign "Kittatinny Mountain Scout Reservation (KMSR)". Turn left onto Struble Rd. Go approximately 1/4 mile and turn left into parking lot of KMSR.

Take Interstate 287 to I-80 West (toward the Delaware Water Gap). Approx 9 miles west turn onto Rt. 15 North to Rte 206 junction. Follow Rt. 206 north. Follow the directions as above.

Landmarks:

You have NOT reached KMSR if you have not passed: Yetters Diner, Skylands Baseball Park, Dale's Market, Culver Lake, Stokes Forest Sign. You have PASSED KMSR if you went by Struble Rd on Rte 206, reached Flatbrook Rd on Rte 206 or the signs for the town of Layton.

VOORHEES STATE PARK, High Bridge, NJ

Take Rt. 31 north to 513 North (High Bridge). Follow 513 through the Town of High Bridge going towards Vorhees Park. After going through the town going up the hill look for the entrance to the park's observatory. Make a left, go up the hill and look on the right for the Family and group camping. We will be in the group camping area at the last site on the left (there are only 3 group sites).

DELMONT SCOUT CAMP, Greenlane, PA

From Flemington, take 202/31 south. Stay on 202 across the river to Doylestown (202 becomes the Doylestown Bypass). Merge onto 202/611. Turn LEFT to continue on 202/Doylestown Bypass (W. Butler Ave). Turn RIGHT onto County Line Road (becomes Bethlehem Pike, Rt. 309). Take the jughandle LEFT onto Souderton Road (becomes Harleysville Pike). In Harleysville, turn RIGHT onto Main Street (becomes Sumneytown Pike). In Sumneytown, bear RIGHT onto Geryville Pike. At first stop sign, make a RIGHT onto Upper Ridge Road. Camp Delmont is 1 mile up the road.

OCKANICKON SCOUT CAMP, Pt. Pleasant, PA

Take Rt. 523 from the Route 12 Circle to the Stockton Bridge. Take a RIGHT onto Rt. 32 towards Pt.Pleasant, PA. You will come to a junction where you can go right or left or go up a steep road that has a stone wall. Take the steep road with the small sign that says Stover State Park and Okinickon. Go up the hill and travel approx. 1 mile until you see State Road on your right. There may also be a sign for the State Park or Okinickon. Make a RIGHT and proceed for approximately 1/4 mile. There will be a parking lot on the left and the camp road is on the right. Walk approx. 200 ft. down the road to the camp office in the middle building. Camp office phone # 215-297-5290

CAMP CARR, Annandale, NJ

From the Flemington area, take Route 31 North to Allerton Road. Take the jughandle to cross over Route 31 to get onto Allerton Road West (Route 623). Make the third LEFT onto Lilac Drive and then your second RIGHT onto River Road. Now take your third LEFT onto Hamden Road and cross over the railroad tracks. Make your first RIGHT onto Camp Buck Road.

Hint: After turning onto Allerton Road West, throw out these directions! There are signs to Camp Carr EVERYWHERE!!! Just follow the signs to the camp.

TEETERTOWN RAVINE, Lebanon, NJ

Proceed north on Route 31 for 1.7 miles to Route 513 north. Turn right and follow Route 513 through High Bridge toward Califon for about 6.5 miles. Just past the A&P, turn left onto Sliker Road. After about 1.5 miles on Sliker Road, turn right onto Pleasant Grove Road and travel another 0.6 mile. The driveway for Mountain Farm will be on the right hand side. Stop at the Ranger's Office. If you come late, proceed past the Ranger's house for 1/4 mile to the gate on the right. Drive through the gate across the field and park with the rest of the cars. Follow the path into the woods about 50' to the camp site.

ECHO HILL CAMP AREA, Annandale, NJ

Take Route 31 North about 5.6 miles from the Flemington Circle. Make a right onto jug handle for Stantion Station Road. Travel 0.4 mile to Lilac Drive. At Lilac Drive turn right and proceed another 0.4 mile. The entrance to the park will be on the right. Follow the sign to the main parking area.

TREASURE ISLAND

Take Rt. 523 from the Route 12 Circle to the Stockton Bridge. Take a RIGHT onto Rt. 32 towards Pt. Pleasant. On Rt. 32, travel to Piperstown. You will travel several miles before coming to the town on the right riverside below the road level. There will be a dock with a large sign for Treasure Island.

CAMP AGNES DEWITT, Ringoes, NJ

From Route 202 North or South, take Voorhees Corner Road east to the "T" at Old York Road. Make a RIGHT and then an immediate LEFT onto Clover Hill Road. Make a LEFT turn onto Amwell Road (Route 514) and go about 2.5 miles. Make a RIGHT turn onto Montgomery Road and proceed 2 miles to the camp on your LEFT. Go through the gate and make a LEFT toward the "Englemen Site". If you are dropping off ONLY, take the road through the woods to the top of the hill. If you are staying, park in the lot at the bottom of the hill before the woods and, in true scout fashion, hike on up the hill. (These parking restrictions have been imposed by the Girl Scouts who OWN the camp. Please respect them.)

Resica Falls Summer Camp, Marshalls Creek, PA

From Flemington, take Route 31 North to the end. Turn LEFT onto Route 46 West. Take Route 46 West to Route 80 West. Go over the Water Gap Bridge and pay the toll. Take Exit 309 to Route 209 North for 5 miles into Marshall’s Creek. In Marshall’s Creek, take Route 402 North (left at the traffic light) for 6 miles. The entrance to Camp Big Springs is on the right just past the bridge over the Bushkill Creek.

NOTE: About one-half mile before the camp entrance you will see a large sign “Entering Resica Falls Scout Reservation”. This is about an hour and a half driving time from the old Flemington Fair Grounds when there is no Flea Market traffic on Route 209. On Sunday add about one-half hour.

If you are driving directly to camp, plan to arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before check-in time, because there is only a small amount of parking at the camp entrance.

If you are early, park in the Resica Falls Elementary School parking lot on the right-hand-side of Route 402, just before you enter the Scout reservation property and wait.
